Divergent Trilogy's first book: 'Divergent'
This is the first non-fiction book I have read (as far as I remember) and it is the thickest book I have read but this book was the fastest book I finished. I finished reading this for 4 days. If I didn't left the house I might have finished it in 2 and a half days.
Ok so...
Divergent is a very exciting and thrilling book. I don't know but I think it is maybe because it was a different kind of book but I love how the scenes are described in the book, it makes me feel like I'm seeing a movie rather than reading and that is what I love about reading the most : ) Some said that it is the same as Hunger Games but for me no its not.
I've read the reviews first before I read the book and all of them says
the same that 'Divergent' will keep you awake by reading it non-stop
because of excitement of what will the next that will happen to Tris and how every factions will be involved. The 5 different factions: Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, Amity, and Abnegation. These factions were differentiated according to personalities. Dauntless, the fearless-filled-with-action faction. Erudite, the intelligent faction. Candor, honest even in danger. Amity, the peaceful. And Abnegation, the selfless caring faction.
Divergent got me curious all the time. I always guess of what happens on the next scene but it kept on surprising me of how the scenes turned out.
Some exciting things in Divergent are: simulations, survival, Tobias and Tris's family... : )
After flipping the last page of the book, I LITERALLY wanted to run to the bookstore to buy the 2nd book, 'Insurgent'. ^_^
