Christmas books
This is the first book I am reading for the Christmas vacation. The second book of the Divergent Trilogy, INSURGENT by Veronica Roth.
I started reading Insurgent on Friday but I'm still not halfway in finishing it (since I left yesterday -_-). I'll update soon once I've finished reading. ^^
I really love the Divergent Trilogy. I can't wait for the movie of the first book ^_^
the Perks of being a Wallflower
I always notice the original version of the book of "the perks of being a wallflower". Most of the time I will pick it up and read the plot of the story (I already did it a multiple times...). Then, I have decided to add it on the list of the books I will read. Then, the movie came out and when I went to the nearest stores I can't find the original version. I searched at 4 or 5 bookstores and they already pulled out the original version. I don't really like buying the movie version of a book. However, I want to read it badly that time so I ended up buying it. So, well...
I am very interested in this book and after I read it, I liked it. I never expected some "stories" (especially some revelations...sorry I don't want to be a spoiler x.x) Charlie had written. It's not a bad expectation, it was kind of a straight-to-the-point story. The book is like a diary which contains stories about the everyday life and mostly the observation of Charlie. For me, the everyday story of Charlie contains lesson. He tends to learn from everything he sees. And this is one of the unique and special characteristic of Charlie. I mean, not everyone observes other people, because usually we are those "other people".
Even though I really like the original version, I did not regret buying the book. I can't even wait to watch the movie. ^_^ (But its been a month and I haven't watched it yet. -_-)
