FOUR: A Divergent Collection
by Veronica Roth

This book was released after the release of the last book of the trilogy which is Allegiant. A lot of people anticipated the release of this book as it is about Four's perspectives on the stories.

Divergent fans or readers have been wondering what goes on inside Four's mind during those important situations in his life. We have all been wondering what happened before he chose Dauntless, how he came there and how it all started as Four. It talks about his life in general as Tobias who is a stiff to Dauntless who became Four the Divergent.

As a normal transfer and initiate, he went through a lot as much as those whom he have trained during the Divergent series. In this book, his friends from the beginning of being a transfer until the end would be revealed and would help Four in adjusting to everything. So as it goes on and on, the story will also feature his perspectives about his family issues such as his mother whom he believed to be dead for years and until he met the love of his life, Tris - a transfer like him, stiff, Dauntless and a Divergent.

It was really fun reading from Four's perspectives on things. I actually wonder sometimes as to what he was thinking most of the time. Although, not knowing before makes us readers thrilled as to what he'll say or do next. Overall this book as a Divergent Collection is a must. It is a must not only for collectors,, but also for us readers. It gives us another different view from the trilogy.
Must read this after completing the trilogy.

I hope Veronica Roth would add another book from this Divergent Collection. I really hope so. Don't you, initiates?

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: 'The Magician' by Michael Scott

         Finally! The second book.

It took me months to finally find the second book. I really searched everywhere for this one. Every bookstore in my city and the nearby cities as well. Luckily, I found one among the numerous bookstores in this city and bought it. I actually finished it a long time ago. I guess earlier this year, but I have been busy at school and graduating and so on.

The second book started now with the twins continuing their adventure with Nicholas Flamel as they fulfill their 'prophecy'. One of the twins, Sophie, had already awakened her powers through one of the elders. However, her brother did not have the chance because Dee is following them too fast enough with every source he can get.

They have been continuing to run away from Dee as Nicholas waits for someone who might be of help to them in Europe. While Perenelle, on the other hand, was beginning to be weaker like Nicholas. She continues to find a way out and to seek help as she is still prisoned by Dee. Luckily, she is accompanied by one of the ghosts of the prison.

There would be people who'll they meet along the way of this journey. Those people could be friends, enemies, friends who turned into enemies or might be vice versa? I'll leave that to you to find out.

It is sure though that there would be new people to welcome and persons to part from.

Mr. Scott's way in writing/telling this story is very interesting for me. I love to read, I love facts/history and I love Europe. His way of mixing in facts into his story makes your imagination of the story much closer to reality as you picture it from your mind while reading it. That's why I really love this series.
